ISEF has been created as a scientific non profit international organization that will not be related to any commercial company that supports the organization, or will just study a certain kind of external fixation device; but will cooperate with all available systems and companies, institutions and scientific organizations for the benefits of its member and the community. ISEF will propose cooperation with ASAMI International, SICOT and/or other scientific organizations to support specialists to achieve their goals on external fixation and will be the link between surgeons and companies to study new ideas on external fixation which are proposed by specialists to contribute to improve the quality of patient care.

ISEF will make efforts to become a solid well-known organization, to publish scientific documents specialized in external fixation researches, to increase knowledge in external fixation and to reinforce relationship among doctors, surgeons, beginners, students and concerned people, if possible.

ISEF will work on reinforce fellowship to share and to interchange experiences among different institutions and specialists and young doctors. ISEF will act as a promoter among specialists, concerned people or professionals in related disciplines all over the world. To achieve these objectives ISEF will display a powerful web site that allows their members to search scientific publication or papers previously published on external fixation. ISEF aims to promote, support, publish, share and distribute clinic, surgical and experimental studies related to this medical field that allow professionals guarantee an optimal quality of life to the patients.
